My biggest mission this year will be to regain the weekends. Last year was important and eventful in many ways, but where I failed the most was allowing work to turn back into a hobby. Work is what you do for money, hobbies are what you spend that money on.
I don’t believe in work in the traditional sense. It’s not meant for me, at least not at this point in my life. I’m proud of having been able to turn a hobby and a passion into something I make a living from, but now I need to separate it from my hobbies. This is probably the biggest lesson I learned from my first year as a full-time entrepreneur.
I achieved and learned a lot last year. I certainly proved a lot to myself. Now it’s time I reintroduce myself to things I gave up last year to run my business. I have a plan, my hard work is starting to pay off and I look very forward to making 2012 my best year so far. After all, there are 52 Saturdays in 2012!
All work and no play makes Timo a dull drummer.
